I was Born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida and I developed a passion for fishing at a young age. I grew up fishing both salt and freshwater, and now with the knowledge and experience of fishing the waters of southwest Florida, fishing the Estero bay and Pine Island sound for the past 25 years, I will do everything possible to create a safe and unforgettable experience on the water.
"My commitment to you is to catch fish and have a great time on the water."
From the most experienced to the first time angler, Capt. Glen is always courteous and professional. Also as a professional firefighter for over 20 years Capt. Glen learned that customer service is the key to a successful business. Captain Glen Brownlee is based out of Hickory Bait and Tackle at Weeks Landing near the Hyatt Coconut Point resort.
Fishing the Beautiful Pine Island Sound, and Estero Bay, my main launch point is Hickory Bait & Tackle at Weeks Landing in Estero, but I will launch where the fish are biting to insure that your Charter will produce one or more of the abundant Florida game fish South West Florida waters have to offer, such as Tarpon, Redfish, Spotted Sea Trout, Cobia, Snook, and Tripletail. Whether you are a seasoned Angler, or 1st time fisherman, a day on the beautiful waters of South West Florida, with light tackle is sure to please!
I offer my Clients the very best in Rods, Reel's, and Tackle. Capt Glen uses Spin Rods by GLoomis and St. Croix; paired with Reels by Daiwa and Quantoum. Live bait is used unless artficial is prefered. I will filet your in season catch, and package for the trip home. Cold water is also supplied. Bring sunscreen, non marking shoes, and a good attitude!
